Slenderiiz Approved Brownie

Have you ever been feeling guilty after eating something sweet like chocolate, cakes, biscuits etc.... ???? Here are my tips :

  1. Have a smaller portion once in a while as treat.

  2. Balance your daily intake of other food to accommodate your piece of sweet.

  3. Remember not to overindulge the next day.

  4. Choose the ingredients in your sweet that serve your body well.

This is my version of healthy chocolate brownies. I use NO sugar so it is Slenderiiz approved I use almond meal rather than wheat (better for gut health) I include my 2 favourite ingredients i.e. PureNourish protein powder & Power boost cocoa powder in my brownies because these ingredients actually serve my body well while we are still able to enjoy something that’s sweet & yummy. INGREDIENTS

  • 1 3/4 cups super fine organic clean almond flour

  • 1/4 cup Ariix PureNourish protein powder

  • 3/4 cup Ariix Power Boost cacao powder

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted and cooled to room temperature

  • 2 organic eggs

  • 1/2 cup almond or coconut milk

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 1/8 cup Desiccated coconut

INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Preheat your oven to 350º Fahrenheit or 180 Celsius.

  2. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper, then spray with coconut oil spray.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, together the almond flour, PureNourish powder, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.

  4. In a medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut oil, eggs, almond or coconut milk and vanilla extract.

  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir to combine.

  6. Pour the brownie batter into the baking pan, and spread in an even layer. Top with the desiccated coconut.

  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes depending on your oven . Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature. Use the parchment paper to lift the cooled brownies out of the pan, cut and serve.

  8. Enjoy!
