Ageing with Pride

Ageing. It’s the most natural process and yet in today’s world, it’s seen as something to be concerned about. To be avoided at all costs.

We’re often pressured into looking younger than we actually are, rather than looking and feeling healthier at any age from the inside.

It seems that everyone expects the quick fix. Pop a pill to mask an illness as opposed to finding and dealing with the cause. Inject our faces with toxins instead of putting in the effort with lowered dangerous sun exposure, regular exercise, healthy diet and lifestyle, and a great clean skincare regime.

It’s impossible to avoid ageing. We are in control of taking better care of ourselves inside and out. Physically and psychologically.

I am concerned that young girls are growing up believing that injections make them feel and look better. That popping a slimming pill helps them stay skinny. We could totally forget how important it is to look after our own well being and to be true to ourselves.

Back to Basics

The truth is, if we all went back to grass roots, we’d realize that perhaps with a little self care, eating real whole food, non-processed foods, taking time out for therapies such as doing the breath work to reduce stress and re-balance, to improve sleeps, to improve mood and self esteem etc , being healthy and wise we wouldn’t feel the need for the quick fixes.

We’d be happy in our own skin. We’d be proud of who we are.
